Fitbit and Polar ( and a little Bodymedia)

Hello..... I am the happy owner of a Fitbit Force. And also own a Polar RS300x.
Yesterday I used them together in the gym. I found out that my Polar gave me about 150 calories more ( burned) than the Fitbit. Perhaps because I did some weights ( shoulders), and for cardio I did rowing and elliptical ? ( no, I didn't get too many steps either ).
So, who do you think I should believe? Fitbit or Polar?
Regardless, I love them both.... but since I cannot wear the Polar all the time, I love the Force a little more.
And I forgot to mention.... I returned the Bodymedia , since I couldn't get it to synk with my iphone. For the short time that I owned it, I was surprised of the amount of calories "given " to me.
Oh, and I tried counting the steps myself, Force gave me 103 steps for 100 counted by me. I guess that is fairly accurate....
What is your experience with similar "toys"?
I am now discovering them, and I find them exciting. Which one is the absolute best?

I have been using the Fitbit flex for two weeks. I have already become addicted to getting in my daily steps and more.
I love my polar FT40 HRM too but find the strap tedious, so tend to use run keeper to monitor my walks. However that clashes with the fit bit counter but was a accurate with my Polar HRM.
I'm still learning and watching the adjustments it's all very interesting.
The Fitbit flex doesn't sync with my iPhone and iPad because they are later versions. So I bought a spare dongle for the computer at work so I can sync there and at home.

Do you notice an increase in activity when you take a shower lol?

I would believe the Polar (assuming it is properly set up). There are some things that all the Fitbit products handle well (walking, running, climbing actual stairs, hills, etc.) and some things it does not do well.

In general, when I am in an activity where I am using my HRM, I allow the HRM to override the Fitbit. For some activities like easy walking, the HRM actually estimates a lower calorie value than the Fitbit.

The Fitbit has no idea when you're under resistance (rowing and possibly elliptical) or on a device (rowing and elliptical). It equates your movement to the closest walking/running one and estimates calories that way.

Your HRM also doesn't do well with resistance training but the rower and elliptical are more cardio so I think it'd do that ok.

Thank you for all your replies.
    To sum it up...
I don't wear either of them in the shower, so I don't know.
The fitbit I set up not to do calorie estimate.
The polar I believe I set up correctly.... ( weight, heights, age, sex + the done the so called lie down fitness test) But I only watch it myself, I don't sync it to anything since I didn't purchase the object that allows it to sync.
Well, it's early to tell... since I only had the fitbit for 3 days or so.
The bodymedia I loved but was too buggy and gave me too many errors... still their costumer service returned the money when I sent it back.
I also read about something called Basis 1 which seems great, and Amiigo ( not yet released).
Those 2 are supposed to be amazing, according to the reviews.
But so far, I am having fun with what I have :)

What phone do you have. You can sync it with a PC and the we site then syncs with the phone. The fitbit will be useless for the type of exercise you described. The BMF is the only one of the three that you can use for that type of exercise AND all day activity.

Lots of people use both and manually input exercise data from HRM in when exercising.
