Questions about Zumba and Weight Loss

So here I am in Week 3 Day 2 of my Zumba workout, I am also doing the 3 Day Shred Level 2 Day 2 and so far I have only lost 3lbs and 2 inches. Is that normal? I am also starting off now weighting 233lbs and 5'5".

    Weight loss is all about the calorie deficit. How's your cal intake?

    So you lost 3 lbs in 2 weeks.. yes, that is good and normal... On a side note, that puts your maintenance calories around 2300. So now you know the level at which you can gain new fat or maintain. And one suggestion, drop some carbs and add in more protein and fats. Protein will improve muscle retention and pro /fats increase satiety.
