I've never been at such a level of effort and never enjoyed working out as much. Right now, I'm using measurements, cause I haven't lost a pound, even though I consume a diet of 50% complex carbs and 20% protein and 30% Fat, a diet, which, when I haven't exercised I've seen weight loss. Nonetheless, I lost two inches on my waist and love handles and gained an inch on my shoulders.
I weigh 270 pounds. My goal is to get down between 205 and 220, depending on muscle and conditioning. I have wants to do Spartan Runs, to get into Crossfit come April. The current workout I'm doing works out Chest and Back 1 day, Legs and Triceps the next day, and Biceps and Deltoids the third day, and then repeats with different workouts the next three days. I don't consider it over working cause I'm not dragging myself to the gym, it's become addicting and it feels good.
My basic plan is to get my body into a good condition and health and then switch over to a full body workout after this six week program for another 10 weeks and hopefully see my weight loss come. Given that I'm losing inches and seeing definition in my arms and legs, I'm guessing I'm either gaining equal muscle to fat loss, or I'm gaining muscle without efficiently burning the fat off do to maybe not eating enough calories. I don't know, but I'm giving myself 28 weeks to figure it all out, with all different intensities of workouts, and exercises, that will push my body to the limits.
I will succeed. There can be no doubt. There can be no question. I will push harder. Work more. Eat smarter. An succeed. With each workout, I do a low to moderate jog on a treadmill as well, to make sure to get the body in a fat burning zone after a workout.
