Yes it's good that i've lost 40 pounds in 6 months, but the truth is that I'm still 30 pounds overweight. The fact that I look "better" than I have in years is actually undermining my ability to stay motivated.
I fit into those 7 year old pants - but 7 years ago I was disgusted that I even had to buy a size 40!!!
So that's why I'm here at MFP - I want the best - not just improvement. I want to finish strong. If you have any advice, or if anyone else is in this boat, let me here from you.
Thanks

I actually know EXACTLY what you are going through!
I have lost 52lbs and feel and look way better...but still have 28lbs to lose!
I feel myself thinking that maybe this is good enough, but I know that's not the case and I want to hit by goal by the end of the year.
So I use that as my motivation to keep going.
I want to be the best ME that I can be!
Good Luck and keep going strong!!!0
