What is your NSV this week?

What was your NSV this week?

Sometimes it is a bit more difficult to think of one, but they are always there. It might even be a simple as getting out of bed a bit easier, deciding to take the stairs at work, etc. If you cannot think of one, maybe make one happen... :)

Mine is I forgave myself for falling off the wagon last week and jumped back on it yesterday!

Best wishes to all.

    These are all great NSVs!!

My kids run around the living room or stand on their heads and kick their legs in the air and say, "Hey daddy, is THIS good exercise?!"

Looking up what NSV means. I couldn't find it spelled out on the site, so I Googled it.

    "Non-Scale Victory".

This morning I wore my belt a notch tighter while vacuuming. (Went back to the normal notch later on, but still.)

Mine is from Saturday morning - putting on the floral skinny jeans that were tight on my honeymoon (mid October) and having them fit really nicely, almost too loose in the waist, and comfy. I wore them back in Oct but they were pretty awkward fitting then :-)

Found an amazingly cute dress and then noticed is only came in plus size and thought "Damn, I can't fit that anymore"

I was bummed for all of 2 seconds until I really thought it through. I'll take missing out on a new dress because it's too big any day of the week!

Went to the gym after dinner every night this week, and planning to go again tonight. Just getting back into the habit of exercising..nothing strenuous!

We got a bunch of samples in my buying office... and I normally wear a size 8/10 and I took home a pair of skinny pants in a size 6...THEY FIT!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

    Size 6!! :)

Plus, this morning at that gym I did the stair master for 15 mins...no stopping... on Level 8!!! I have been struggling with this for a while. I was on level 10 a year ago; but that's what happens when you have to restart! OH WELL>>> Still going to celebrate it!

    These are all so inspirational!

Mine is that on the 10th day of Level One, 30 Day Shred, I was able to do 10 "real" pushups before having to go back to knees. 18 days ago it was ZERO! :)

Went digging in the closet for this skirt that used to be too small and wondered if it would fit ... but it swallowed me up! Way too big!

Great job everyone! I can really relate to a few of these, specifically not getting winded when running up stairs. My NSVs are as follows:

1)My pants are falling off of me and I can't afford to buy new ones right now so I went searching for my belt in my closet. I put the belt on, which was tight on the loosest loop at one point, and it was too big! I'd gladly make another hole in it but it's really not that kind of belt. I'll be needing a new wardrobe in the new year.
    2) My wedding ring literally fell off of my finger. I must have lost a lot of 'finger weight' lol. I'm now worried about losing it.

Teacher did not show up for spin class so I taught the class. Burned about 100 extra calories from all the talking.
Had an 80s cd in my workout bag that we use for old aerobics class my wife use to teach.

I packed my lunch for work 6 workdays in a row. Ruined the streak today since we had a end-of-year potluck (granted I did bring in food for it). When I fail to pack my lunch, I tend to make bad choices.

I have been working at getting better at meal planning (I am the cook of the house). When I don't have meals planned, we resort to eating out or having frozen pizza. I have been on a roll with this lately but breaking that streak today since tonight we are having frozen pizza. My husband offered to take care of dinner since I have plans to run with a friend and frozen pizza is the only thing he cooks. I new today would be a bad day, and I am thoroughly enjoying. Can't be good all the time and it feels so good to be naughty!

I had to get new trousers as I didn't have any that didn't fall down, and I thought that might look unprofessional while teaching my lifeguard course this week! Now in UK size 14s - ecstatic! Given me new hope for my size 12 goal before my friend's wedding in July :)

I had a couple of them this week actually (considering I've been indulging in the Holiday goodies & festivities) Early this week I was able to put on a pair of jeans that were once snug, they are now very loose around the hips and waist I had to put a belt on (never did with it with those before). The added bonus was that I can now get to the 4th notch, before I could only get to the first. I think I yelled with excitement and screamed out a bunch of expletives!

Yesterday, I was able to slip on a size 10 mermaid pencil skirt. Which btw, I am currently wearing sz 14s & 12s in most of my clothes.

The little things go a long, long way. ^_^

    Happy holidays to everyone! :drinker:
