File the papers, serve them, and move on as quickly as possible.

    Pizza.
    Broken ring.
    "Served" message from courier.
    On her birthday.
Answering machine, "I love you so much, it's over, papers are on the dining room table."
Pictures of you with another man.

    So many choices.

  • Apparently it's $20 for a do-it-yourself divorce kit from Staples. Because diamonds are forever, but marriage is for the hell of it.

    Slip out the back, Jack.
    Make a new plan, Stan.
No need to be coy, Roy.
    Listen to me.

    Hop on a bus, Gus.
    No need to discuss much.
    Drop off the key, Lee.
    Just set yourself free.

These are hilarious but I pray my heart never becomes this angry and bitter that I feel compelled to get so low.

When you have no children or debt, it's very easy, quick and relatively inexpensive. Even with real estate involved.

Unfortunately for most people it becomes very complicated and expensive.

That is so 2009. Teens are using Facebook less these days.

In all seriousness, look up collaborative divorce. I'm in Texas too and IMO it's the best option. It's not cheap, but it keeps everything out of the courts.

My s/o is allergic to cats, so the running joke is that if I ever come home with a cat, he knows it's over, no questions asked.

    That cake is awesome.

I had some friends who had a divorce party. I wish with all my heart that I could be that civilized. Marriage breakups don't usually end with both people happy about it. My one and only divorce was not something I felt deserved a party.
