Fitness Bike.

Heya guys! I want this question to be answered by people who are/were doing exercise on a fitness bike. I have a pretty basic one. Nothing special, just 8 different difficulties. 1 being no resistance and 8 being the most. I want to know how long a day/week I should be on it to lose a decent amount of calories. Should I switch it up between intensities in the workout session or between days? How should I go about it? And will this help me lose weight in my stomach area? I get it can tone up your legs, but will my other body parts see a difference?
