What is the image of a 'healthy body' in your country?

I live in the UK. All you ever hear is that people have the wrong idea of what a healthy body is from the media. To a certain extent I think this is true (not just about weight, but other imperfections aswell). But I also think that us overweight people use this as an excuse to think that people with normal bodies aren't healthy. I think even when we see a normal body in the media, we still have it in our head that they're just skinny and that that's an unachievable body. I am overweight for a fact, but I feel like because such a big percentage of the country is overweight; I look around and see people either the same or a lot bigger than me and I have it in my head that i'm not that bad, so I get demotivated to lose weight. I think the fact that there are so many overweight people these days, we don't even know what a healthy body really is.

I am in Canada, I think healthy is not being extreme either way, being overweight or under weigh create health risks. I think women have let media dictate what healthy is................skinny is not it. being fit in mind and body is the key. I am not a " skinny girl" I am healthy though, energy and no health issues do to weight or lack of ......................I consider that good!
