Everyone carries their weight differently.. for me I need to drop about 10 lbs before I drop a pant size.0

Moderate calorie deficit, some form of resistance/strength/weight training, patience.0

Lift heavy
How about a caloric deficit - isn't that more impactful to losing weight than 'lifting heavy'?0 -

I don't know if I can drop a pant size but I can certainly drop my pants.0

But she's 115lbs at 5'1. Maybe eating at maintenance for that 115 while doing strength training to work on body composition?0 -
Agree drop a bit more weight for your height through Moderate deficit. Lots of Squats firms up the backside. That and lunges. Whether you choose to do weighted squats/lunges is up to you but results are pretty wicked.
You've had good success so far....Should be no problem. I wear a size 4. Am 5'7.
There ya go...my 2-cents. :drinker:0 -

remember this: weight in numbers =/= losing inches on the waist
I've lost inches fast with all sorts of strength training over creating a calorie deficit. Calorie deficit made my weight drop, but not the inches on my waist.
Welcome to my personal nightmare.0 -
i would like to lose inches my butt is ten more inches than my waist it bothers me and when you are short it does not look so pretty in my opinion0

Where do pants fit tight? Try to tone that area.
Running is great, google the squat challenge (my bf loves when I do that, apparently the results are noticeable). I like side lunges and donkey kicks too.0 -

Welcome to my personal nightmare.
What part of my post made you think that I do not realize that weight in numbers =/= losing inches? Or that I had forgotten it?
So, your weight dropped but you lost no inches with a caloric deficit.
And you still need to pay attention to calories - you will not drop inches or weight if at a surplus. Just the comment 'lift heavy' is without context. Also, you do not need to 'lift heavy'. There are other methods of resistance training also.0 -

Or maybe eating at a caloric deficit and doing some resistance training....
115lb at 5' 1' is well within a healthy BMI.0 -
I would like to be 105 pounds. I am trying to do 50 squats a day.0

I was just wondering. I didn't know how low she should be looking to drop to fit in a size 4. I thought maybe she could do that without dropping more weight is all0 -

She can drop 10lb (that she suggested) and still be within a healthy BMI. I cannot see any issues with losing a few more pounds (on the face of it that is).0 -

So is mine....own it
I would stick to a moderate caloric deficit, resistance train and be patient.0 -

That's a very reasonable and doable goal. Keep your eye on the prize0 -
I was told by one of my moms health coach/family friend that I should not lose anymore weight or else It will be unhealthy but I have gone on BMI calculator websites and it said and it said at 105 but I guess what I am saying is that I am trying to get toned in hope to lose a few pant sizes so tired of being size 6 but I did used to be size 120
