Cooking Eggs in Bacon fat...is that really bad?

I will be honest, I have one slice of bacon every morning, I know it high in fat but I enjoy having one piece and my breakfast keeps my full for hours.
But after I'm done frying the bacon, I will put my two eggs in the same pan and make sunny side up eggs and dip one piece of whole wheat toast in the yolk with a half a banana and skim milk on the side.
Is that really bad and unhealthy? Should I stop with the bacon?

One slice of bacon is a small amount of fat. There aren't really any bad foods, including bacon grease (unless you're drinking glasses of it). Don't worry about it.0

no that's delicious0

I say enjoy as long as you have no health issues that would preclude saturated fat.0

Sounds yummy to me. If the calories work for your goals than I see nothing wrong with it.0

This!... Yummy0 -
I refuse to eat eggs any other way, haha. I think it's fine.0

My husband thinks it is, but it's not. That's why I scramble my own eggs. Hehehe0

Should I stop with the bacon?
No. Never stop with the bacon and no bacon shaming. Bacon = good. Life without bacon is not worth living.0 -

Like another said there is no bad or good foods...Food is food but if your truly worried about it, for instance the cholesterol levels then you can track your cholesterol levels on here0 -
Calories will be higher than if you, say, microwaved the eggs. Have to evaluate your objectives against your desire for tasty food.
As a side note, I cook my eggs in bacon grease.0 -

Honestly I think the bacon fat takes away the taste of the eggs, and I looooveee eggs so I don't do that, but I do eat bacon multiple times per week and see nothing wrong with it! :drinker:0

Wouldn't you be counting that fat anyways as it is part of the strip of bacon? I say, don't let those calories go to waste!0

I have given up too many other things to give up bacon! Or cooking things in bacon grease!0
-
I just soak up most of grease before just leaving enough to coat the pan like you would with oil.0

My kinda breakfast minus the banana and bread0

Not only do I fry the eggs in the bacon grease, I'll through some bread in afterwards to soak up whats left and get crunchy and delicious.
