I'm trying to get the right facts for my homemade tuna salad...I use:
1 can of Chicken of the Sea (Light in Water) - drained
1 Grade A Large hard boiled egg
1 tbsp of Miracle Whip
-That makes 1 Cup of Tuna Salad, I only use 1/4 cup per serving
When creating my food, I added all of the nutritional facts of each ingredient:
Serving: 1 - 1 Cup
Calories - 160
Sodium - 365 mg
Total Fat - 9 g
Potassium - 145 mg
Saturated - 2 g
Total Carbs - 2 g
Polyunsaturated - 0 g
Dietary Fiber - 0 g
Monounsaturated - 0 g
Sugars - 1 g
Trans - 0 g
Protein - 17 g
Cholesterol - 195 mg
Vitamin A - 6%
Calcium - 2%
Vitamin C - 0%
Iron - 6%
Now when I select it for my Snack I do:
Number of Servings: 1/4
And the Nutritional Facts come out as:
Calories - 40
Fat - 2.2
Cholesterol - 48.8
Sodium - 91.2
Carbs - .5
Protein - 4.2
Vitamin A - 1.3
Calcium - .5
Iron - 1.5
Does that seem correct??? What worries me is the high number in Cholesterol and Sodium...I'll most likely only eat this once or twice a day...Are those bad numbers??? I'm trying to lose weight...I'm doing the Herbalife Program, I want to use Tuna Salad as one of my Protein Snack options..
THANKS SO MUCH
