This is link to a podcast of a CBC radio show called Ideas that did two part discussion on possible causes of the rise in obesity in north America.

Its interesting...... I think worth a listen. it runs about an hour each episode.

"Jill Eisen explores the politics, economics, and science of overeating. We're eating, on average, 200 calories per day more than we did just 30 years ago. What happened to bring about this sudden change?"
