What! Swiss Chalet is no worse than McDs. If you took the time to look at the nutrition information there are a bunch of meals that a nice and high in protein and low on calories. Just like anywhere else, the appetizers and deserts are high calorie, but you don't need to eat those to enjoy a meal out. Quarter Chicken White meat is 290 calorie. Have the veggies on the side I believe is another 40 calories, then either skip the roll or have it without butter 110 calories more for a total or 440 calories. Don't blame Swiss Chalet, it offers good options. Even the salads there are great and they are huge as quite low calories.0

Food is what you make it. Plan ahead next time, I guess? :P0

Hey, it happens, but I took umbrage at your saying Swiss Chalet was bad. It isn't, lots of good and filling calorie options even among the popular foods there. When I screw up calorie wise, I try not to blame to place I got the food, and instead place the blame where it does rest, on my choices. On my lack of planning. Then I put it behind me trying to make it a learning experience about how to plan in the future.0

I know the feeling. I went out to eat a few weeks back, got something that I thought looked reasonable on the menu. I forgot to consider portion size and the fact that it came with fries for some reason I really can't explain.
But it did taste much better then McD ever could, so no regrets, just something I never really considered before.0
