What! Swiss Chalet is no worse than McDs. If you took the time to look at the nutrition information there are a bunch of meals that a nice and high in protein and low on calories. Just like anywhere else, the appetizers and deserts are high calorie, but you don't need to eat those to enjoy a meal out. Quarter Chicken White meat is 290 calorie. Have the veggies on the side I believe is another 40 calories, then either skip the roll or have it without butter 110 calories more for a total or 440 calories. Don't blame Swiss Chalet, it offers good options. Even the salads there are great and they are huge as quite low calories.

Hey, it happens, but I took umbrage at your saying Swiss Chalet was bad. It isn't, lots of good and filling calorie options even among the popular foods there. When I screw up calorie wise, I try not to blame to place I got the food, and instead place the blame where it does rest, on my choices. On my lack of planning. Then I put it behind me trying to make it a learning experience about how to plan in the future.

I know the feeling. I went out to eat a few weeks back, got something that I thought looked reasonable on the menu. I forgot to consider portion size and the fact that it came with fries for some reason I really can't explain.

But it did taste much better then McD ever could, so no regrets, just something I never really considered before.
