I'm thinking about starting with IIFYM. anyone who's doing that and can tell me about the basics? The info I found online was helpful, but I'd rather have it explained of someone who's doing it with MFP. Can you count your macros right with mfp or does it only count calories? How do you do?

The only problem I'm having is not being able to adjust individual macros amounts. MFP sets you a generic macros count, but not IIFYM.
What I'm doing is tracking my IIFYM macros on another site, and using the macros counter here to track the overall amounts. Does that even make sense? lol
Like for instance, when I track my food/meals in a day... I'll just check the amounts along the bottom, and see if it tallies up with my off-of-MFP IIFYM checklist.0 -
You can adjust those in the goals setting. Click on goals and then custom and you can change them to whatever your percentages may be.
Edit - forgot to quote the person above me0 -
I adjust mine individually with this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1070891-1-increment-fix-from-5-to-adjust-macros0
