This is a proper pie chart.

Seems it would encourage people to diversify their exercise routines. Wouldn't that be a good thing?
If it was placed where the cardio bunnies workout, then yes, it might spark some interest in weights & metabolic work. The issue most are having is with the fictitious, bro-science stats and no mention of food intake. Personally i think a better way to persuade cardio addicts to get off the hamster wheels is to show a photo of a hot girl lifting weights & doing metabolic work.. something like this.

way too much strength training0 -
so....where's "caloric deficit"?
Maybe they aren't talking about overall weight loss, but a change of body composition, more muscle, less fat.
At any rate, for me personally, I need the deficit because I am trying to lose weight.0 -

You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big

that much cardio is not going to lead to more muscle….0 -
I don't see how you can lose body fat without eating at a caloric deficit.
Mathematically speaking, if you ate at maintenance and lifted weights you might gain some muscle and your body fat percentage might decrease (because you have more muscle), but your actual amount of body fat will probably not reduce.
The only way I can see you losing actual fat is to be at a deficit (obviously if you are a beginner who starts lifting/doing cardio your TDEE will increase and so you may find yourself at a deficit).
There are chubby personal trainers at my gym, and given that they probably do 20-30+ hours of intense cardio, weights etc a week they must have forgotten the diet part which should occupy more like 80% of that chart.0 -
They should take that one down and post this one instead - it makes just as much sense:

Just by looking at it, I can tell which classes or areas of the gym they are trying to push /encourage people to use. Seems to me that the cardio part of the gym, due to the machines used, uses fewer employees. The other 2 need more human intervention.
People will look at this and flock to them, thinking this is the latest and greatest new method to lose weight because they've been doing it wrong all along.0 -
