Hi guys!
Been using MFP for almost 6months now, worked like a charm.
Have been running in to somewhat a problem, i hit my macros way before i use all my kcals for the day, for ex today:
These are my daily goals,
kcal 2,600
Carbs 227
Fat 87
Protein 227
Fiber 23

but today i've eaten 1665kcals and i've got 32 carbs and 5 fiber left, I'm also cutting atm, should i still eat the remaining 1000kcals, if so, protein, carbs, fat ? Eating 1600kcals a day would have my drop weight like a motherF*****, but i would also plataue pretty quickly and it's hard to cut down more when you eat 1600 ( I'm a guy, 28years, 200pounds, 6' 1" )

Well, totaling your macros up, it came out to like 2600, so I'm confused if you've met your macros at 1600 kcal with spare macros. I would double check entries in the MFP database.

I've double checked the numbers and it seems to be accurate. Only thing different to now and before is most off my food consistes of Oatmeal and Quark.

    For exempel, my breakfast is
    140gram Oatmeal
    1 cup Almondmilk
    2eggs
    120gram Proteinpoweder
    500gram Quarks.
    =
    1665 kcals
    195gram Carbs
    81gram Fat
    204gram Protein

Why would you need to have 200g of protein in one meal?

This post is confusing... wtf are you even saying?

Counting Macros and Counting Calories are the same exact thing.. the only difference is that some labels might round up or down or may exclude fiber from their caloric totals...

You cannot hit your macros and without hitting the same calorie goal. You don't drop 1,000 calories when you cut bro.... if that's what you think.. holy ****.

    195*4 = 660
    81*9 = 729
    204*4 = 816
    = 2205, not 1665.

Your maths, or your diary entries are terribly wrong.

Hmmmm... MFP macros are computed by percentage. Meaning if you put in 2600 cals, MFP will compute how many GRAMS of certain food groups you can eat BASED on the percentages you entered. example, if you put in 50% protein it is equal to 1300 cals from protein or 1300/4 = 325 grams. (computed as 1300 calories / 4 calories per gram protein). You might want to check your entries and try to total the macros if they add up to the right amount calories.

^This. Protein & carbs each have 4 calories per gram; fat has 9. Your numbers do not add up.
