So... macros

How important are they?
I'm eating around 1500 kcals daily (which is my TDEE -20%) I seem to be getting most of my calories from fat and carbs. like 47% fat, 35% carbs and 18% protein.
Is this going to prevent my weight loss?
I know people recommend either the high carb/ low fat or High protein / low carb. But I haven't read anything about high carbs and high fats, so, Is it a bad diet? I'm a little confused about the whole macros thing.
The fat content on my diet mostly comes from full fat dairy, whole eggs ,olive oil, avocado, chia seeds, etc. which are supposed to be healthy fats.

That is almost exactly my macro breakdown. It will probably work for you, if you have calculated your calorie goal correctly - it's about calories for weight loss. I've been on those numbers for three years.0

Thank you very much!
@BeachIron. I don't understand your comment.
I'm from Spain, mac&cheese is not very typical here.0 -

The higher fat is the thing that finally dialed in my desire to feel full/satisfied and my need to keep calories low. My breakdown is 45F-35C-20P. 1560 calories. I pretty much lose a tiny amount each month if I stay in those numbers. I've been at maintenance for six years, and I'm much older than you. You could probably eat a couple hundred calories a day more. Just make sure you're getting that protein every day.0 -

Ignore that, just a silly joke.
Fats are fine and they do help you feel full. I've slowly moved back to whole milk, cheese, 80/20 ground beef, etc. and away from the lower fat varieties.0 -
Thank you both!
I guess I can stop worrying about this hehe.0
