My old school motto meant "gradually but surely". When I first joined MyFitnessPal the weight dropped off me very readily. Now that I've been here a year it's coming off a lot less easily, but it is still coming off.
Even when weight loss is very slow you do occasionally pass big milestones. Today I dipped under 14 stone and for the first time in about twenty years I now weigh 13 stone something. Hooray!
You might not be seeing the heady days of rapid weight loss at the moment, but if you stick to it, you'll get there.

Good for you!!! Congratulations!! There's no question that the closer a person gets to goal the harder it is to drop weight. I find maintenance difficult because I don't get that satisfaction of seeing the numbers drop on the scale every week. My weight from week-to-week may be a little up or may be a little down, and I'm trying to find the same satisfaction in holding within a couple of pounds of goal, whether it's above or below0
