The worst body part to have DOMS is...

...calves :indifferent:
Did a few sets of standing & seated calf raises a couple of days ago and I'm in a world of hurt right now. I can't stand on my heels & am pretty much walking around like a total spaz. I'm usually a huge fan of DOMS but this is just ridiculous  with other body parts, I find that stretching helps but even touching my calves hurt because they're so tender.
I think lower back comes second only because it affects every other workout. Still extremely bearable compared to calves though.
Curious, where does it hurt the most for you? :flowerforyou:

I have to agree with calves. I had forgotten, because it's been years, but yep...calf DOMS will change your life.0

From Wikipedia, for newcomers:
Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), also called muscle fever,
is the pain and stiffness felt in muscles several hours to days
after unaccustomed or strenuous exercise.
I agree that the pain in the calves causes the most discomfort
when attempting to go about one's daily routine.0 -
posterior chain...makes for a fun time trying to sit on the toilet0

Lower back. Radiates down into the butt and then down into the legs lol.0

Quads. Sitting hurts, standing hurts, walking hurts... You get my drift. And just imagine STAIRS! *shudder*0

Glutes - absolute torture having to drop onto the toilet from a great height because you cannot allow contraction of any muscle used in sitting. Especially if you're drinking lots of water lol.

I had the worst DOMS in my chest last week and it was rediculously painful to move my arms from left to right. Me-owww! But you're right, calves suck too!0

I hated the soreness I felt the first time after I did a shoulder workout, because it felt like I was getting sick. It was pretty bad the first time because I had never done so much as a shoulder shrug in my life and I loaded up the trap bar with 100 pounds because it was so easy to do. That plus all the other lifts made me feel like I was coming down with the flu the next day. I normally don't mind muscle soreness because it reminds me of what I'm trying to accomplish. Calf soreness is pretty bad too, though!0
