So I just completed my first 30 minutes of weight training in my apartment complexes fitness room. The machine I used was a Paramount Fit 3000 and I did 3 sets of 9 reps at a comfortable weight (I might try upping it 10 or so lbs.) In between sets I ran in place for 60 seconds to keep my heart rate up and it worked out pretty well.
I feel really good about my first step in losing my final 64 lbs.

Right on! Ride the wave! If I may, I'm posting a link to a blog post I wrote earlier this year and that your post reminded me of:

Keep on sweating away there in that fitness room; consistency is the key to success. Good luck to you bro. #goteammfp0
