MFP vs TDEE

HI i have seen a lot of posts regarding people using TDEE, what do people think gives better results?

Also how do you work out your TDEE without the online calculators as people say these aren't always right.

I am 5'3 weigh 161lb workout 3* a week for 60 mins which is a mixture of cardio and strength

However from boxing day i am starting the 30 day shred so that will be a 6* a week workout for 25 mins
