Greek Yogurt and Ranch seasoning = Delish ranch dressing
I sometimes add a little milk to make it more pourable.0 -
Just whisk together olive oil & vinegar with a little dijon mustard (or mayo, if you prefer, blech) as an emulsifier. Add crushed garlic, salt, pepper, and fresh or dried herbs to taste (and a little sugar or honey if you like). Whisk well and serve. (Experiment with different vinegars to find what you like; I like a white balsamic infused with fig.) You can also add a little anchovy paste and grated parmesan for a Caesar-style dressing.
You can also do lemon juice and olive oil with salt and lots of fresh ground pepper.0 -
Plain Greek yogurt + tahini (ground sesame seeds) thinned w/ water. If you have 'em, fresh lemon juice, garlic &/or ground cumin (a spice used in Middle Eastern & Mexican cooking) make it even yummier.
I use it as a dressing, as a dip for veggies, pita, or pita chips, and as a sauce on chicken or fish.0 -
1/2 t sugar
1 t soy sauce
2 t rice vinegar
a dash ( like 1/4 t) sesame oil
My go to recipe for asian-ish salads.0
