So I asked this previously and took advice like putting the sensor in the back I always wet strap I'm currently doing insanity and my ft7 stated I burned 670 cals doing insanity max circuit duration of 1 hour now my max hr was 195 in my other post it was a dif max video and max hr was 190-192 and alot of ppl said it was high so today it reached 195 I did lower it and caught my breath often I didn't feel discomfort just out f breath but not to the point where I'm sacrificing my body now I'm 22 yrs old and weigh 166 height 5'3-5'4 can my hrm be wrong I tried the iPhone hr app with the index finger it wasn't that off either now my average hr was 173

Any feed back would be great I have been deducting 100 cals from exercise just incase its over estimating should I deduct more leave it as it is or input what hr say ?

I think the HRM is accurate. You're young - your max HR will be higher than those of us who are older. And, the formulas are just an approximation. I'm 39 yrs old and my max HR is at least 202. On a tough race, in the heat, it can get up into the upper 190's. So, I don't think your HR is really that out of line given you're almost 20 yrs younger than me.

Thank you so much I had to ask again because few ppl suggested it was high I'll just keep an eye on it and just lower it when needed
