Just hide it or get rid of it

I just wanted to say that hiding that tempting stuff in a pantry or just plain throwing it out really has gone a long way with me in a short amount of time too! I lost 5 pounds so far in just one week. I really can't say enough about just getting that junk out of the kitchen and out of the house. Then when you go to the gas station and there's that awkward moment that you find yourself standing in front of the goodies just walk the other way!

Anyways I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

or eat it in moderation so you're not just wasting food!

Oh yes, I have to agree with that one when filling up the car. Eating in moderation was only half the issue for me - avoiding the sweet stuff and cheese was my downfall. Just walking away to avoid the temptation of 'moderation' is a far surer bet!

    ^ THIS

There's a pile of goodies sitting on the worktop in the kitchen. I have a tiny nibble once a day to reward me and to remind me how much damage that lot can do

I used to buy cookies and chips for the kids, then ended up eating them all. So I stopped buying unhealthy snacks completely. The kids can eat healthy too. Of course they would rather have cookies. So would I. But instead we have fruit, granola bars, crackers, etc. Having the snacks in the house was too much for me. I had to quit buying them. Problem solved.
