General Whine and Fishing for Support--Scale Related

Ugh. I am stuck at 178-ish. My scale hates me. It says 178 then 179 then 181 then "you aren't doing this right". Yeah, I'm not sure what kind of mojo is in the digital readout that can make it read so many characters. There is only room for 4 numbers.

Ah well, Who cares about the possessed scale. Maybe one day it will read "You are DONE". Of course, I'm not sure if it will mean "DONE" as in done with weight loss or done with living in general. Maybe it will grow arms and legs and arm itself with a kitchen knife, which is really, within arm's reach, since the scale is in the kitchen floor.

Oh, that makes me want to put a combination lock in the knife drawer, or maybe move it to the bedroom. Oh, weeeellllll....maybe that's a bad idea, too....I mean, there are spike heels and, erm, adult, erm....items in there. Oh, the horror of being killed with a plastic cylindrical, erm....item.

What should I do when the scale animates and tries to kill me? Maybe if it arms itself with my pairing knife, it'll do some plastic surgery and remove the back fat. That wouldn't be so bad, right?
