hey im 5'2, almost 5'3, and ive been eating about 1300-1400 cals a day.. i workout with weights every other day for about 30-40 min and do a little bit of cardio on those days too. its been 2 weeks and i havent lost any weight! ive had a few off days but i feel like i should have lost at least a pound or 2... is there something that im missing?? please help!

have you lost any inches? did you take measurements? if you are weight lifting, you could have lost inches but stayed at about the same weight since muscle weighs more than fat.0

Have you been drinking a lot of water?
If you have not been getting enough water your body will hold on to extra water weight. 8 glasses a day (or more) is recommended to keep the system hydrated and not holding on to water.0 -
It's normal to gain weight from water retention when you start a new workout regiment, so I would git it a couple more weeks before making any adjustments.
And it goes without saying, be sure you are logging accurately with a food scale.
ETA: You will get better, more specific advice if you diary is open.
ETA2: For reference, after maintaining weight for over a year, I gained 5 lbs when I started running. It took over a month for that weight to go away.0 -
1) It's only been 2 weeks, but I understand your frustration.
2) You're probably eating more than you think unless you are weighing even every butter smear or cooking oil pour etc.
3) What goal did you set on MFP to get you a 1300-1400 target?0 -
im about 120 pounds which is wat i started as 2 weeks ago... i havent been drinking 8 glasses of water a day thats for sure.. and yes i took measurements and i have lost a little bit but my stomach, which is my main priority, is still bloated and i have big love handles...
