I've seen this. The principal use of this hernia repair "fabric" is to reinforce some weakness in tissue where it becomes permanently incorporated. left in too long it will become permanent on the tongue Why would any surgeon think using this for up to three weeks this could teach anyone how to live comfortably with food. .

It seems to me that this would be only an emergency stop gap solution if someone was in imminent danger of over eating themselves to death. Otherwise - why bother?
