I eat some of all kinds of foods. However, I have found protein to be my very good friend on the weight loss journey. It helps keep me feeling full and gives me energy.

I eat 4-6 servings (actual servings) of vegetables daily...one or two servings of fruit...lots of lean proteins (fish, salmon, chicken, pork tenderloin, lean cuts of beef, etc) and healthy fats (olive oil, avocado oil, almonds and other nuts, avocados, nut butters, etc)...and some whole grains.

I also eat ice cream, jelly beans, gummy bears, the occasional soda, beer, wine, etc. I get my nutrition on and my fitness on...but I also enjoy myself and don't deprive myself of the "good things" in life.

I do not group foods into categories of good and bad or healthy and unhealthy, instead I choose to eat within my set caloric intake and hit my macro's and exercise.... This method seems to have provided me with pretty good results...... Best of Luck

personally, I predominantly eat fresh vegies and fruit, protein from various sources, and plenty of good fats. I like eating lots of food - if I chose more calorie dense carbs i'd eat less, and likely not be as satisfied. yesterday I stuck to my macros, but had more calorie dense options..ie, Christmas pudding. I was starving.

I believe eating for health is important, and like the choices I make. I would honestly choose to eat my way over say, having daily icecream/lollies/take away even though I know I could fit those things in to my diet. I make a lot of stuff from scratch and still enjoy pizza, burgers, desserts when I want them. when I eat things that aren't so healthy, I make better choices and eat things only if I think they're really worth it. take away? nup. degustation dinner at a high class restaurant with matching wines...i'll be there in a heart beat! store bought cake? nope. cake made by someone I know is a sensational baker, or eating my way round a great patisserie in paris...yes please!

I think eating a nutrient dense diet helps me with results and recovery in training.

A broad mix of foods seems to work well for me, not completely eliminating anything as "evil" such as meat, bread, sugar, etc.

I do try to eat more vegetables. And I drink a lot of water and get plenty of sleep. Which I know the sleep isn't exactly on topic here but I am a huge believer in 8+ hrs per night for optimum health!!
