My Birthday Present To Myself

So, two years ago, I had gotten down to 230 pounds and 22% body fat, I was in the best shape of my life. Things happened, I fell into bad habits, I fell into depression because of health issues I didn't know about, and I was using food to treat it, and ballooned back up to 270 pounds. Today, I've cured my depression (as in have it under control, and know how to take care of myself for optimal emotional stability), I know what diet works best for me, (I eat small frequently meals about 6 times a day of green vegetables and lean protein), and I am constantly exhilarated with working out. How, well, I'll put that in another post, and hopefully my information will help you, as much as its helped others solve problems.
My birthday is in April and my gift to myself is a brand new body. I am two weeks in, my biceps are nearly a half inch bigger and I've gone from a size 46 to a size 44. My final goal, which is for the summer is to see a size 32 waist and 53 inch shoulders. For my birthday in April its to say 36 waist, my smallest waist I can remember in 12 years and 235 to 245 on the scale, though the size is far more important than the weight.
I use Focus T25 for my cardio workout for the day, I use The New Rules of Lifting weight lifting routine in the gym each day as well. For the first time my body craves exercise, wants it. I don't push myself to go to the gym. I actually stop myself from wanting to go to the gym, to not overwork out.
This year is going to be amazing. I think it's going to be amazing for all of us!

such a GREAT attitude... your plan seems very feasible, so i know you will meet your bday goal. regarding depression, i battled it a few years ago... they tried EVERY anti-depressant, and the only thing it helped was with gaining weight (and lots of it).
turns out, i am one of the LUCKY ones (and i truly mean this)... the ONLY thing that will help me with my depression is (drum roll please... ) EXERCISE! so, glad you were able to get help with the depression... just know that the exercise is really, really important too!0
