Forearm pain while doing pullups?

Hi all,

I am experiencing pain on my left forearm between my elbow and hand when I release the pull up bar.

The pain is not on the inside of the forearm muscle but on the outer forearm muscle(opposite side of palm), halfway between the elbow and hand.

I jumped on the bar(wide grip) and did about 5 pullups. When I let go of the bar and jump down, I get a sharp shooting pain on my left forearm(my right forearm feels 100% fine)

The pain disappears within seconds, then returns when I do pullups again.

Wondering if anybody else has experienced this pain and where it's from? other than taking time off from pullups, what exercises/stretches can I do to expedite the healing/strengthen the forearm muscles?

i get them from deadlifts at time too.

work on your grip strength. farmers walks really help.
i also find that once i reach the point that my grip is the weakest link in a lift then it's time for a week of eating at maintenance and recovering
