well yesterday was definitely better than the day before, so i am greatful for that. i woke up feeling kinda crappy and realized later in the day that i had a cold. i walked to work as usual, so i got a little bit of activity in. i tried that paul mckenna thing yesterday, and it seems to be ok... i still ate some bad things, but i didn't binge at all, so that is huge for me (trying to be positive here lol ). here is what i ate yesterday:

breakfast:
1.5 cups oatmeal
1 banana
1 granola bar

snack:
2 wasa crackers
1 yogurt
mini carrots

lunch:
2 sausages
1/2. cup rice
steamed broccoli
1 large chocolate brownie

snack:
cucumber slices
22 almonds
banana

after work snack:
4 0z. garlic sausage
1 bag of chips (small bag)
1 small diet pop

supper:
1 cup w/w pasta
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/5 sausages, put in the sauce

so, it may seem like I cheated alot today, but i never over-ate, which for right now is my main goal. today i am really sick, and want to crawl back under the covers and sleep it off, but i dont have any sick time left. i have to go to work, work for a bit and likely get sent home. i weighed in yesterday and was the same weight as i was last monday, so i looked at that in a positive way, and tried not to get too down on myself for binging. i also tried smiling alot yesterday, and got some nice smiles in return, and also thought about all of the nice things people said about me: the blue sweater i was wearing looked really nice and made my eyes really blue, i'm a nice friend because i worked someone else's last half hour on friday so they could go home early. today is a beautiful sunny day, and i'm going to try to focus on positive things that happened, try not to binge, and try to follow my meal plan: for today plan is:

breakfast:
bagle with microwaved egg, 1 piece bacon, 1.2 oz cheese, tomato and mayo
1/2 apple/bran muffin, no butter

snack:
1/2 apple bran muffin, no butter
mini carrots

lunch:
1 cup w/w pasta
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/5 sausages, put in the sauce

snack:
1 yogurt
22 almonds
cucumber slices

after work snack:
1 apple, sliced

supper:
roasted sausages (i know i know, they were on 75% off this week lol)
mashed potatoes
steamed broccoli

here is to today, here is to getting over my cold, and making it through a time of the month where i don't sit and eat whole chocolate cakes in one sitting.

Writing it all down, good or bad is a tremendous motivator isn't it? Many a time I have passed up a dessert because I just didn't want to log it!!!

feel better fast....drink tons of water!

I am sooooo happy for you.:flowerforyou: You are doing really great. Keep up the good work. It will be worth it. And a little secret, you are keeping me motivated.
  • I hope you don't mind but I have taken a page from your book and I am putting down the plan for the day before hand... what I will eat and what exercise I will do... It really seems to be helping me to log it all in first thing in the morning... I know that if I change something it's not too hard to change it here but I am less likely to do so once I already have it down...
Thank you for being an inspiration...:flowerforyou:
