Balance Ball Chair

I wanted to first get everyone's thoughts on the use of a balance ball chair. I have an office job where I sit for 9 hours a day, and commute for 2 hours per day. would this be beneficial at all?
Secondly, if so, what is a good brand to review as my current weight is 260 lbs so I need one that can support all that and then some?
Thanks
Melissa

I had an exercise physiologist professor who swore by his balance ball that was all he used for his office.
He just used a regular exercise ball. They are usually weighted for something like 1000lbs.0 -
We have one here where I work, and no one uses it. I used it once, and sitting on it for hours on end caused my back issues.
If you are looking for a more health promoting workstation, I would suggest talking to your employer about a standing workstation.0 -

I agree, standing Workstations are better. Get adjustable desks where you can stand or sit depending on your mood.0
