Well more info = I have celiac (no wheat gluten/glutenous grains) am allergic to soy eggs nuts/seeds and completely lactose intolerant. My blood test said I'm also allergic to whey. I'm able to eat greek yogurt cause it has they whey skimmed off and eat tons of the plain kind.
Ouch, that's harsh.
You should check out www.reddit.com/r/keto - it's a forum dedicated to a grain- and sugar-free lifestyle.
Nuts play a huge part of our diet, but they don't HAVE to. Flax and chia seeds are incredible sources, although not meaty.
And I can't believe anyone wouldn't like to eat more bacon.
Good luck!0 -
You don't need meat to get protein. peas, beans, quinoa, almond milk, nuts, leafy greens are all good sources.0
