Help...I am about to pig out

Tonight is my anniversary. My wife and I had a wonderful time. We went to Ruth's Chris steak house and split the whole meal. We then went to the movies. Now that we are home I am STARVING. I just ate 1.5 oz of cheese and looking at EVERYTHING in the cupboard. I know I should drink water water and more water, but my old ways are coming back to haunt me.

P.S. I started my proper healthy diet and workout program on December 14, 2013.

Thank you for reading my scream for help

Water will definitely help. This is just my opinion, but if you feel that you need to eat more at the end of the day, eat slow digesting foods and high protein. (Fat free cottage cheese, lean meats, etc..) Avoid fats, sugars and carbs before bed if possible.

You may want to consider examining your current intake goals. Sounds like you may be eating too few calories and your body is triggering hunger. Experts? Chime in anytime... LOL!

you need to keep busy. Food isn't an activity. If you are truly hungry have a piece of fruit or some veggies. The more junk you eat the more you will crave.

How many calories a day are you eating? If you provide more information it would be helpful.

You may want to eat more because you truly are hungry. But sharing a meal guessing here because you didn't say what you had but under 1000 since you split it, 1.5 ozs of cheese 150 calories. If that's all you had all day I would be hungry too!

Edited to add: Sorry forgot but Happy Anniversary!

Tonight is my anniversary. My wife and I had a wonderful time.

I totally overlooked this statement. Get off MFP and give your wife a massage. Seriously...

The massage will keep you busy for at least 20 minutes and you will likely find something to occupy yourself for another hour immediately after the massage. If you are any good at massage, you will definitely be ready for bed afterward... If you are still hungry afterward, go ahead and eat man... You will have burned a few calories.

Happy Wife = Happy Life. :smokin:
