New heart rate strap for Christmas - Help finding usable app

I got a new BEETS Blu heart rate strap of Christmas and I am having trouble finding an app that I can connect it to that I can use outside via GPS and inside on the treadmill. Purchased this one as it was suppose to connect to Runtastic on my phone and then to my Myfitnesspal account but it wants an activation code that they wont give me because it is not one of "their" products. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Are you using android or IOS? Did you check http://beetsblu.com/apps/
    There are several apps that seem to support it, altough I don't own one but I plan to buy either a Beets BLUE or a Polar H7.
    Still researching, tough as Endomondo does not provide Bluetooth 4 (BTLE) for android :(

    Most apps require you to pay extra for HRM compatibility :(
