Options
Hi I dont know if this is the right place to ask but iv just got a fitbit zip and I have a question about it.
Basically whats the difference between "fitbit calorie adjustment" shown on the exercise on mfp and the calories burned that it shows on the fitbit device. Im confused because the numbers are different. Help would be appreciated.

This is in the help section. Does this help?

Home > App Gallery > Total Daily Calorie partners: what information is synced with MyFitnessPal?
Total Daily Calorie partners: what information is synced with MyFitnessPal?
Whenever your Total Daily Calorie device or app updates your data, we'll retrieve the actual calories burned that you've recorded up to that point in the day.

We'll also sync a summary of the consumed calories from your MyFitnessPal Food Diary.

For the portion of the day remaining, we'll create an estimate of the calories you're likely to burn, based on your activity level so far, and the amount of time remaining in the day.

If the total of your actual calories burned as recorded by the App Gallery partner, and your estimated calories burned for the full day are different than our original MyFitnessPal estimate for the entire day, we'll adjust your net calorie goal accordingly.

The adjustment will be recorded as a cardiovascular exercise labeled "Calorie Adjustment." Because the adjustment value is recalculated every time your device uploads new data, you should expect this value to change over the course of the day.
