Focus t25 and discouraged

So.. I've been doing focus t25 for about 3 weeks. To give you some background.. I'm 5'3, 26 years old. And about 221 pounds.. When I first started I was 227 pounds and not used to doing any physical work out activity. For me it's been extremely hard to accept my heavier frame since I come from a very judge mental family and have been thin my entire life.. The weight had been adding on for the past 5 years ( since I've gotten married, and started on hormonal birth control) now that I am off the hormones and trying to get back into shape I'm struggling with the fact that I'm not losing as much as I would like to. I still fit Into the same clothes about the same as when I started and I'm just feeling really disappointed that I haven't lost a pant size or even more weight.. I'm putting slot of effort into this and for me to still do the workout after 3 weeks is major.. I guess I just really needed somewhere to vent since my husband had had it up to here with my complaints about weight.. And my family sees this as being another way to judge me... I don't know.. I guess I just want to find myself attractive again.

I Love T25, I just finished.
First. You have lost 6 pounds in 3 weeks!!!! That is 2 pounds a week. That is a very healthy weight loss level.
You did not gain this in 3 weeks, it doesn't all fall off in 3 weeks. you're also at the hard point. Many don't Lose Anything the first 2-3 weeks and the discouragement has them stopping. YOU will Not.
You Can do this !!!!!!!
Add me as a friend, I'd love to follow your journey and keep you motivated. I think I'm going to re-start the Beta phase on Monday, at least until I decide if I'm getting P90X3 next.

Wow you've lost 6 lbs in the 3 weeks since starting??? JEALOUS!!
There are plenty of people who would kill to achieve the kind of progress you're seeing. No joking.
And don't worry about not losing a lot of inches yet - your muscles are going to be a bit swollen for a while since, as you said, you're not usually physically active. Once your body gets used to the rigorous daily activity, they'll go back down to normal (and this might not be until you finish the program). After it does, I'm sure the inches will begin to fall off like leaves from a tree.
Lastly, I usually lose about 1 pant size to every 10-15 pounds, so assuming you're like me you won't be needing to look for new jeans for another week or two yet.
Keep up the great work, and I hope to hear more about your progress!0 -

rome is not built in a day. patience there young grasshopper. dont rush it.
tip:
to further your weight loss, eat on a deficit set by your MFP. aim 300-500 calories deficit 5x/week and just meet the required on weekends.

There is a saying: " It takes 4 weeks for you to notice your body changing, 8 weeks for your family to notice, 12 weeks for the rest of the world. Give it 12 weeks."
2 lb loss per week is awesome!!! (1 lb loss per week is also great - and it is sustainable. So if things slow down a bit from here, don't be discouraged.) However 3 weeks and 6 lbs is not far enough along yet for noticeable visible changes, especially when also incorporating an intense workout program which means you may be trading fat for new muscle which is also a great thing.
So commit to 12 weeks, no matter what. No quitting. Don't even entertain the idea of giving up. Stay true to your course. At the end of 12 weeks look back and re-evaluate what's working and what's not. I'll bet that 9 weeks from now you will be delighted with the changes you are beginning to see!!0
