Resolution Time!!!

It's that time again! Mine are...

1) Stick to a workout plan
2) Be more organized on a daily basis
3) Save more money
4) Eat more vegetables
5) Make stress reduction (meditation, yoga, etc.) a daily habit.

What are yours?

•School comes first. Boys have hands for a reason, and so do I; we should use them.
•Even though it's not a class I'm taking, I want to practice learning español. To this end I have purchased a spanish-english dictionary, as well as a copy of Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal (español version of the Philosopher's Stone)
•Continue to work out, and work to eat more clean foods - less microwave garbage, more home-cooked stuff.
•Make an effort to save money, and not to touch money in savings. Avoid impulse purchases at all costs.

For most of my life I have been great at losing weight and even better at gaining it back. This time around (and hopefully this is the LAST time around!), these are my goals and mindset:

Don't freak out at every hiccup on the scale - even healthy people see weight fluctuations.
The holidays may have kicked me in the butt (my own fault) but I cannot let that undermine all the hard work I have put in so far.
I will try harder to fit in my exercise even when it's 20 degrees outside and raining.
I will start lifting weights so I can keep my metabolism going and get my @ss off the back of my thighs.
I will try to remind myself once in a while why I'm doing this (my health, my family, my appearance).
I will keep my journal going and read it over and over again to keep my motivation up and remember what I used to feel like.
I will learn to take a compliment instead of letting the voice in my head tell me it's not true.
And I will hope that everyone else who wants to get healthy has all the success in the world.
