I'm Amy and I'm excited to be back. My weight loss journey started back in January 2011, we had recently moved to a remote location in California and I was having a hard time getting a job. I decided to take that time and focus on my health. I'm 5'9" was 206#. My all time, non- pregnant, highest weight. I did amazing. Over the course of a year and a half I lost just shy of 50#'s. then I got a job. I was able to maintain for a few months but let the stress and office parties get the best of me and I gained back 10#'s. We moved again this past summer and life has been good but crazy busy. It's an excuse but I truly didn't have the mental ability to try to get my health back on track. New job, new house, 3 kids and 2 dogs to get settled into a new life meant alot of whatever I can grab to eat and not a lot of physical exercise added another 10#'s. I had good intentions, I joined a gym as soon as we moved here. Now with the stress of holidays behind me and life is finally settling into a routine I'm excited to stop the trend I'm on and get refocused. I look forward to getting to know some of you and keeping each other motivated! Happy losing!
