Mind Games We Play on Ourselves

I am a visual person so I needed to come up with a way to visualize how many pounds I am wanting to lose and how many I have lost.
I have 2 small glasses. I placed 135 pennies in one. Each week when I weigh myself I take the number of pounds loss (1 pound = 1 penny) from the glass and transfer the pennies to the other glass. I now have 118 pennies in one and 17 in the other.
I get very excited Thursday morning because I know I will get to move some pennies! It sounds corny but it helps me stay motivated.

This is a great idea. I like to see visual reminders too, a good one is packets of butter as every pound is the equivalent of 2 packets. When I lost 30 I took a pic of 60 packets in a supermarket (prob looked crazy but was too excited to care).
    Keep up the good work.

    I get to watch.
I get to man the camera.

Also, I just like to see my ticker move closer to my goal every time I weigh in.
