Vegans & Vegetarians!

Hey everyone!

My name is Meghan and I live in British Columbia. I've used MFP for years but only really used it to look up nutritional info on food and never stuck to a plan. I have gained almost 30 pounds in about 2 years, so now I'm back and ready to lose the weight!

I just became a vegetarian in October. I've never really been a huge meat-eater anyways, but I've chosen to no longer support the mass production of animal products and the killing/ torture of animals. You vote with your dollar!

I've always been interested in healthy eating and try to eat only plant- based foods. I've done A LOT of research about diet & fitness and it's something I am passionate about.

I'm looking to lose 30 pounds by May 1st and would love to have you as a friend. Let's support each other!

  • Hey Meghan! My name is Madison and I'm from the United States. I recently decided to be a vegetarian myself, but I am eating fish and eggs. (No dairy though). I've been going for about a week and a half and want to continue.

    I've gained about 10-15 pounds, and I'm looking to lose it. I'm 20 years old and I would love to support you in your endeavors. We could motivate each other to reach our goals :)
