I'm starting a Podcast tracking my progress

Hello everyone!!
I'm new to the boards but not to MFP. Been on here for a while. I just want to make everyone aware that I am starting a podcast called "Positively Negative" -- it's a 90 day lifestyle change where my mother and I will document EVERYTHING we eat, every bit of exercise and even our failures on our podcast.
We're going to start the podcast on January 2nd and it will go for 90 days. We're planning on recording daily so that if people want to follow every day -- they'll be able to.
Both my mother and I eat TERRIBLY unhealthy. I am 6'0 172lbs. But I look and feel my best around 150lbs. My good cholesterol was WAY too low (37) so I want to try and get that a little higher. But, overall, I am not overweight but my lifestyle is VERY poor. I eat terrible foods.
My mother has smoked for over 40 years, drinking about 1 cup of water per day (if that) and lives predominately on Coca-Cola. She has many ailments. Takes over 60 pills a day for high blood pressure, cholesterol, Krohn's, Hernia and many others. The rest of the family has given up on her but I think this lifestyle change will reverse some of the ailments she's had. She is going to give up smoking and Coca-Cola during this time.
We're giving up pretty much all unhealthy foods (cakes, pies, etc.) and focusing on mainly vegetables and small portions of protein. 6 meals a day. With a 1200 calorie per day minimum -- no matter what! I'm going to detail our exact plan out.
Given her ailments, she'll be walking on our treadmill for exercise for a total of 60 minutes per day. I will be trying p90x3 -- which I have never done a P90x before but I am fairly excited to see what will happen. This version is about 40 minutes per day of exercises (which I'm a bit skeptical of). I ran the air force half marathon in September and was on track *down to 162* but had to have my tow nails removed in December because of an infection so that ruined my progress.
If anyone is interested in listening or tracking our efforts, we are starting the podcast (actually have 1 recording up now which was a test but kind of funny) on January 2 and will run for the full 90 days through live podcasting and blogging.
I'm really hoping this will be the motivation to get the both of us on track!!
