Anybody with CKD and diabetic?

Having a hard time figuring out what to eat. I have chronic kidney disease and I am diabetic . One diet says do not eat white bread and the other one says to eat white bread and not whole wheat . I have meet with a dietician and she was not much help . Anyone know white or wheat is the way to go?
