Another newbie here...
I'm a mother of 2 (9 and 5). Up until now, losing weight wasn't a priority. After going on a family vacation this past summer and seeing pictures of myself, I made the conscious decision to make it a priority this year. I've started working out (Leslie Sansone videos and step aerobics) and have an elliptical on order that is going to be delivered next week.
I would like to lose 80 pounds, but realistically, I would be happy with 60. My kids are my biggest motivator. I would like to be able to run with them in the park and not be out of breath or self-conscious about what I look like. I want to fully enjoy time with them and not worry about things like that.

Your story sounds so similar to mine - I have around 80lb to loose and want to be healthier so i can run around after my kids - they are also my biggest motivator (13, 4 and 8 months). Good luck and here's to a healthier 2014 with fabulous holiday photos and clothes that fit!0 -
