Just signed up this morning...looking for more motivation on my road to becoming a healthier wife and mom. I have been running for about 6 months and have lost about 25 lbs in that time. I have tried all sorts of "diets" in the past just to lose weight and then gain it all back. Who knew good ole' fashioned exercise and watching what I eat what be the answer!!!! However, I have come to a screaching halt in the weight loss department and trying to figure out what I need to do to shed that last 10 lbs!!! Good luck to everyone on your own journeys!!!

    Glad you're here! I love running, too, and I lost weight with just running up to a point, but then I had to start watching what I ate, too. That's the part I don't do so well and that's why I'm here. Good luck to you!
  • Welcome to MFP! I just signed up this week and have really enjoyed it so far. It really holds you accountable for what you eat and you get to interact with people that are in the same boat as you. A great support network! I wish you tons of luck!!!!

  • I'm so glad to have another pal! :) I love the site. I lost about 12 pounds last year using a different site and I have slowly gained it back over the summer. I've been using this since the beginning of July to refocus. :) If you have a smart phone it has an app so you can log your food and exercise even when you can't get to a normal computer.
