I'm not losing "weight" but I look thinner?

I notice my arms are a bit smaller as well as my legs and waist. The scale has only dropped a pound, does one pound really make that much difference?! (By the way I only have 22 pounds to lose to get at my goal weight of 150. I'm 5' 10")

Sounds like your toning up, it's possible to lose inches without losing many lbs0

if your lifting its probably muscle so your burning fat but adding muscle which is very good some people will end up looking amazing and never being as light as they would wish but that shouldnt matter if the mirror makes you happy0

I dropped a full size without losing a pound. The scale lies. Grab a tape measure and take some photos - much better way to track progress, especially on days when the scale isn't moving or goes up a few pounds (which it will do).0

I've been weight training for three weeks so it could probably be muscle!0

3 weeks of weight training won't make 'that much' difference. Sure, a bit, but not so much. And fat is less dense than muscle so takes up more body space. Small changes around certain areas can add up to a couple of lbs quite easy.
Fat takes up more space/less dense. Muscle is more dense, and more effective at burning calories.0 -
I've stayed the same weight essentially for the last year and have lost 3 pants sizes. It happens. I guess I'm destined to be a brick house. You don't have to lose weight to lose fat.0
