Hi, I just joined this group yesterday. The day before that my doctor told me my high blood pressure is beginning to affect my kidneys! That's it! No more excuses. No more feeling sorry for myself in all my circumstances. I have to lose this weight!! I've been 100 lbs overweight for 20 years now. I lose a little then gain it all back. I'm not doing it for any man now or to please anyone else. I am doing this for me. I want to be healthier and I want my blood pressure to be back to normal without taking pills that barely work anyway. There seems to be a lot of encouragement here and I sure need that. It is nice to know that I am not alone in this challenge to lose weight and feel better. I look forward to getting to know you all. God bless, Rachel

You can do it!! I'm 1.2 pounds from my goal, I've lost 165.2 so far. Believe me, if I can do it at my age (51) so can you!! Good luck!

Wow thank you for your inspiring post. I am 52 and I know it will be harder at my age but if you can do it so can I!
