I swim for the majority of my exercise. I have an MP3 player for swimming that works well, but the ear buds are terrible. They fall outof my ears and get really muffled. Does aanyone have underwater earbud suggestions?
Thanks. Heidi

I just purchased the iPod Shuffle for my daughter for Christmas. It is purchased from a company called Audioflood on Amazon. The cost was $140 and included the waterproof ear buds as well. The ear buds have a short cord so that they do not get in your way when your swimming. She is a competitive swimmer and did not have any issues with it when doing all four strokes and flip turns. There were several companies but this company had the better reviews and other companies had to disable some of the buttons and features in their process. This Shuffle is full operational. Hope this helps!0

I use chilli waterproof mp3 player. Dont use it swimming but it has great reviews on Amazon from those who do. I got it as a gift but it sells around £50 and it has special ear buds for those who are swimming.0

Here's the ad that came up when this thread went up... might be worth checking out this company as well.

I use a SwimP3 which I love. Specifically because it doesn't have earbuds - which I can't get to stay in my ears even on land! Instead the "earphones" sit on your cheekbones and you hear the music through bone conduction. It's a very clear sound even underwater and I'd be lost without it!0

As noted by Wuggums above.
I tried one of these and it worked fine and sounded pretty decent - a bit tinny but not bad.
Ultimately I wound up deciding that music was just annoying while swimming and quit using it.
Strange because I love running with music. Swimming, not so much.0 -
