Do you need to change your goals sometimes?

When I'm at work I need more calories, so on my days off do I need to change my goals so the calorie intake is right?

This question is vague and confusing. Do you need to change your calorie goal on your off days so it is "right"? What?

Sorry, I'm not very good at explaining myself. When I'm at work, because it's a physical job the calorie counter gives me over 1600 calories for the day, but when I'm home if I set the goals again it gives me 1200, so do I need to keep going in and changing the goals on my day off or just leave it set at the working day.
  • you're not changing your goals, you just get to eat more because you're being more physical. (like eating back the calories you burn when you exercise?)

I carb cycle....I have low (non training), normal, and high days....I get 2 high days a week, on the days I think are the most intense workouts. I follow iifym, so the difference in these days is the amount of carbs I eat.

Ah, I get what you are saying.

    Try this:

    1. Create an "exercise" called "Work"
    2. Add "Work" for a 400 calorie burn on each work day

This way you will account for being more active on your work days.

Or you could just average it out and custom set your goals to that average.

Right, thank you very much, I like the idea of adding work as excercise, think I might do that.

    Thank you for the replies:smile:
