Hi everyone
I've just ordered a polar FT7 from Amazon. My main use for this is going to be to see my calorie burn from insanity but I've read that they aren't very accurate for circuit type training, is this true? What have people found? Thanks!

I found that my Suunto HRM gave me a good reading throughout Insanity. The only thing is a HRM won't tell you how many calories you burn afterwards from the metabolic effect of HIIT and circuits. Still, I found it very motivating to see 500+ calories gone after a workout!0

HRM's are the best indicators for your personal calorie burn and it worked well for me when I did Insanity!
I'm not sure why it wouldn't be very accurate for circuit training, it feeds off of your heart rate so you'll know what you burned during that workout. But like what was said, the only thing a HRM doesn't do (for ANY workout, not just circuit training) is tell you what you burn throughout the rest of the day. Insanity boosts your metabolism so that you burn more throughout the day. But again, I just used my own HRM and still had awesome results!
Feel free to friend me!0
